3年前にNYに旅行に行ってまわったアートギャラリーのDMを見直し、アートを語るときに必要な単語をメモしていく記事です。
今回はFIVE ELEVEN GalleryのDMです。

＊"documentation" はドキュメントと同じ意味です。「資料」ということですね。"lay out" は「put」と同じ意味で、「置く」ということです。
He extracted a cobblestone from the pavement at an unidentified location.
＊"extract" は「引っ張り出すという意味で「pull out」と一緒です。"cobblestone" は「玉石」のことです。"pavement" は「舗道」、"unidentified" は「不明の」です。
He sealed it with cement in the hollow remaining.
＊"seal" は「塞ぐ」、"hollow" は「溝」、"remaining" はこの場合「残されたもの」という名詞です。

＊"graft" は「関係する・関わる」です。"infrastructure" は「基礎・基盤」です。

＊"mimic" は「真似する」です。「imitate」と同じ意味です。"domain" は「範囲」です。
